On the 23rd of March we turned off the lights…..and this time by choice and not through load shedding. We turned off the stoves, and we had a braai with candles, fires and the night sounds of the Lowveld. The theme for this year’s Earth Hour was “change the way we live.” By switching the lights off for an hour and raising awareness, we are striving towards preserving the earth’s biodiversity. This is a small step towards making nature matter and we will commit to these efforts continuously through our day-to-day living.
