Enjoy the Lowveld with our one-stop-shop safari package

With its central location in the Lowveld, Pine Lake Resort is ideal for exploring the magnificence of the Panorama Route or, further afield, the world-famous Kruger National Park. A new service is making this easier than ever to do – and then unwind after a long day’s ride with a soothing massage.

As of March this year, we have launched a safari package for our guests that, in true Pine Lake style, makes life on holiday with us calm and uncluttered.

In the past, guests wishing to go sight-seeing in the area would have to make private arrangements with tour operators, weigh up the pros and cons of which one to trust with their precious vacation time, and face the hassle of doing any number of cash transactions before, during and after their trips.

Now it’s a simple one-stop-shop thing: pick up the phone, call our reservations department to let them do the legwork for you, and go out and enjoy.

You’re collected at the resort, put in the care of a knowledgeable and accredited tour operator, and brought back afterwards to your home from home. To round off the experience, visit our spa for a massage to iron out the kinks from a day on safari, or a facial beauty-treatment to revitalise the skin after the sunlight you’ve had under Africa’s big blue skies.

Then, at the end of your stay, just pop around to reception and make a single payment by card.

And that’s it. Call, go, pay.

Pine Lake is offering this convenient safari service in partnership with Inkosi Tours & Transfers, a local company in White River that provides both fixed-itinerary and flexibly personalised tours. As a further offering, it can also chauffeur you to town and back for shopping, lunches and dinners if you feel like kicking back while on holiday and, mentally and physically, stepping out of the driver’s seat for a rest.

The safaris extend up to the Kruger National Park as well as covering the nearby Panorama Route – a spectacular landscape of hilly plains, plunging escarpment waterfalls and historic towns immortalised in Jock of the Bushveld, with the full sweep of it including such attractions as Pilgrim’s Rest, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, Blyde River Canyon, God’s Window and the Three Rondawels.

All of it now an easy phone call away at Pine Lake Resort. Call, go, pay – and enjoy.
