A few weeks back I walked into the Golf bar and a group of guests were busy counting loudly. They got to 5 seconds and then applauded. That’s how long it took for the generators to kick in and for the exciting rugby they were watching to come back on, during one of many load shedding sessions in the Lowveld. For many it has been a depressing, dark, hot and frustrating few months but we have managed to keep the power going at Sabi through all of this.
