Gold Crown winning streak shows that Pine Lake staff shine

Pine Lake Resort successfully retained its position as a leading timeshare destination at the RCI annual awards ceremony held in March 2019, winning Gold Crown status once again. It is the Xth year in a row that the resort has garnered this accolade, a distinction in a distinction that puts it firmly in the top echelon of what RCI calls “properties consistently offering superior holiday experiences”.

Pine Lake’s General Manager, Thuso Moroe, was thrilled by the award, saying it was proof positive to guests “that we are looking after the resort well and keeping everything up to standard”. It also highlighted the calibre of the staff at the resort and the strength of their morale – ingredients essential to staying on a winning streak.

“I’ve got truly fantastic staff,” Thuso said, “and am proud to say we have the right people for the job.

“If you look at the guest comments and feedback we get, you’ll see that staff morale is high and that team members engage well with our timeshare owners and other guests. This goes to show that we need to keep investing in our people through constant training and development to ensure we have happy staff members, because that means we then have happy guests.

“Staff morale plays a huge role in striving for the best of service standards, so I want to thank my team for the great job they’ve done in enabling Pine Lake to secure Gold Crown status again this year.”

RCI, a global leader in timeshare exchange, explains on its website that, to receive an RCI Gold Crown Resort award, “established standards have to be met based on Comment Card scores from Members … Many areas of resort operation are rated, including check-in/check-out, hospitality and guest service, resort maintenance, unit features, maintenance and housekeeping, and on-site amenities.”
