News in brief – Keeping it chillaxed with chiller-diller refurb

The “chiller” plant at Umhlanga Sands – our air-conditioning system – is due to be upgraded in June this year, when it will be replaced in its entirety with a new system. The heat pumps connected to it are being replaced as well. With the chiller plant reaching its use-by-date, the new one will provide much-enhanced air-conditioning in our timeshare units and throughout the rest of the resort. It will also make the property more energy-efficient and save on electricity and water costs.

The upgrade has been scheduled for the winter months when guest have less need of air-conditioning than usual. Fans in the rooms will to help to ensure, though, that you remain comfortable at all times while the system is temporarily under renovation.
