Dear Pine Lake Member
Welcome to the Pine Lake Resort newsletter, the first in a series we’ll be sending our timeshare owners to keep you updated on events and goings-on at your home from home on the banks of Lake Longmere and your gateway to Mpumalanga’s spectacular Panorama Route.
Pine Lake is all about revitalising yourself and your loved ones in an environment crafted to excellence, and this issue highlights some of the new projects and services we are introducing to help make sure you continue enjoying superb holiday breakaways with us.
As our report on the RCI awards shows, the vacation experience at Pine Lake is recognised by the world’s leading timeshare-exchange organisation as well as resort-goers countrywide and globally as one of the finest there is. We were honoured in March this year to be classified once again as an RCI Gold Crown Resort, a distinction which is earned on the basis of ratings that guests give to the full spectrum of a resort’s operations, premises and facilities.
The fact that we have now won this coveted annual award for more than 25 years in succession means that you as a timeshare owner can be rightly proud of your holiday investment at Pine Lake and the work the management team and staff members are doing to keep everything shipshape for you.
In our efforts to keep the Gold Crown held high, we will soon be launching a three-year maintenance programme to re-enhance the quality of furnishings, flooring, verandas and much else in the resort’s chalets – and, as our lead story reports, we have even made a head-start on this already by attending to a number of things we knew guests would be delighted to see us get to sooner rather than later.
Pine Lake is more than the sum of its physical parts, though. Over and above availing guests with high-quality chalets, immaculate grounds and an absolutely entrancing natural setting, we put a range of further services and value-adds in place to make your stay with us an enrichingly holistic experience. As Cara James, the owner of our new on-site beauty and massage service, explains in a Q&A with us, the idea at Pine Lake is to help guests escape the stress of city life, slow down, unwind and rediscover “peace of self, peace of soul”.
The focus here, she says, is on keeping life calm and simple – something that another new service of ours, an in-house safari package, is going to do for you when it comes to exploring natural wonders on the Panorama Route such as the Blyde River Canyon, Bourke’s Luck Potholes and God’s Window, along with other major attractions like the Kruger National Park.
We hope you enjoy this first issue of our newsletter, and look forward to welcoming you in person when you next return to us. In case you’re concerned about load-shedding, rest assured that your timeshare holiday is safe. Thanks to our board of directors, we have a generator on-site to provide an uninterrupted supply of electricity to the property, so the lights stay shining at Pine Lake Resort.
